AV EVENT SERVICES
AV, media, internet and equipment hire — planned, crewed and delivered by one team. One call covers the lot.

Pipe and drape, backdrops, stage decks and rigging — stage hire on the Gold Coast & Brisbane, delivered, built and packed down by one crew.
The stage is the centrepiece of any live event. Whether you need a simple raised platform for a keynote speaker or a full multi-level concert stage with trussing, lighting and rigging, we design and build it to professional standards.
All our staging equipment is rated, load-tested and compliant with industry standards. Rigging operations are carried out by experienced riggers and structural assessments are provided on request for venues that require them.
We work alongside your lighting, AV and production teams to deliver a stage that looks incredible, functions perfectly and comes down safely at the end of the night.
Pipe and drape is the fastest way to transform a bare room into a finished event space. Our pipe and drape hire turns loading-dock walls, ugly corners and oversized halls into clean, photographable backdrops in a couple of hours. Uprights, crossbars, weighted bases and pleated wool-serge or velour drape all come as a kit, so you get a continuous wall of colour without a single nail in the venue.
Drape kit hire covers more than a back wall. We use it to mask storage areas at expos, build private green rooms behind a stage, create entrance tunnels at product launches, and frame a head table at a wedding. Heights adjust on the fly, so a 2.4m booth divider and a 4m+ stage surround come from the same system. Black for a moody awards night, white for a bright conference, ivory for a wedding — pick the look and we build to it.
When the brief calls for branding rather than fabric, the same frames carry a printed backdrop or a tensioned media wall. Step-and-repeat walls for red-carpet arrivals, full-width scenic backdrops behind a keynote, or a hard-edge media wall for press photos all rig off drape hardware or dedicated frames. It is the cheap, flexible alternative to a built set — and it strikes in minutes when the night is done.
Stage hire on the Gold Coast covers a lot of ground, so we keep it simple: stage decks and risers that lock together to whatever footprint and height the room needs. A single 200mm riser lifts a panel discussion so the back row can actually see. A low catwalk pushes a fashion or product reveal into the crowd. A multi-level build gives a conference a presenter platform, a band riser and a screen line that all read as one clean stage.
Where the stage goes shapes how we build it. Conferences and awards nights want a wide, low platform with skirting and a tidy front edge for cameras. Expos and trade shows want quick-deploy decks that survive three days of foot traffic. Weddings want a discreet riser under the band or the ceremony. Product launches want height and a strong sight line to the reveal. We spec the decking, skirting and steps to suit, then dress it with drape so the structure disappears and the moment stands out.
Stage decks and risers pair naturally with trussing and rigging. Once the platform is set, ground-supported truss carries lighting, screens and drape above it without touching the venue roof — handy for marquees, warehouses and heritage rooms where ceiling rigging is off the table. We deliver, build and pack down across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland — Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Southport, Robina, Burleigh Heads, Bundall and Coomera — with the same trucks running north to Brisbane, south to Byron Bay and up to the Sunshine Coast.
Anything that goes up over people's heads has to come with a plan, and ours does. Every truss span, drape header and screen frame is load-rated, and we work to the weight limits of both our gear and the venue. In plain English: we know what each structure can safely hold, we never load past it, and we keep the heavy items — screens, speakers, lighting bars — inside the rated capacity with margin to spare.
Ground-supported rigging keeps the load on the floor instead of the building, which is the safest option for most rooms and the only option for many. Where a venue does allow rigging to its own steel, we liaise with the venue, confirm the rigging points and load limits, and provide load plans and engineering documentation when they are required. Bases get weighted or footed so nothing is tippy, cables are dressed and taped so nobody trips, and the whole structure is checked and signed off before another crew works underneath it.
The same care applies at packdown — structures come down in the right order, by the crew who built them, with no half-rigged stages left for the venue to deal with. With one team, one invoice and no hand-offs, backed by 15+ years and 1,000+ events and 300+ hire items online, it is staging and rigging done the way live production should be done: engineered, documented and boring in exactly the places it needs to be. No drama.
