Do I need sandbags or safety gear with stands?

For lighting stands and outdoor setups, sandbags are strongly recommended. We can supply shot bags/sandbags and advise on safe rigging.

Can you supply LUTs or calibration?

Some monitors support LUT loading and basic calibration. If you have a LUT file, we can help load it before your hire.

Does this monitor support HDMI or SDI?

Check the listing for supported inputs. If you tell us your camera/output format, we’ll confirm the correct monitor and cabling.

Can you provide an operator for switching/streaming?

Yes. For live events we recommend an operator to ensure stability, audio integration, and smooth switching.

Do I need internet for live streaming?

Are filters or lens hoods included?

Inclusions vary by lens. If you need a specific filter size or a hood, ask and we’ll confirm what’s available.

How do I know if this lens fits my camera?

Lens mount compatibility is critical. Tell us your camera model/mount and we’ll confirm compatibility (and any adapter required).

Can you reset camera settings before/after hire?

Yes. We can supply recommended baseline settings and can reset the camera on return if requested.

Do you include the right cables/adapters?

If cables/adapters are listed under ‘What’s included’, they’re included. If you tell us your setup (SDI/HDMI, lengths, etc.), we’ll make sure you have what you need.

Do you include media (SD cards/SSDs)?

Media isn’t always included unless stated. If you need cards/SSDs supplied, tell us your format/recording needs and we’ll quote options.

Can lighting be used outdoors?

Yes, but wind/rain can be a safety risk. Use appropriate stands, sandbags, and weather protection. For outdoor setups we recommend delivery/setup support.

Are light stands and sandbags included?

Inclusions depend on the kit. Many lighting hires can be bundled with stands, clamps, and sandbags—just ask when booking.

What power do lighting fixtures require?

Power varies by fixture. Check the listing or ask us—especially for high‑output lights. We’ll recommend safe power and extension options.

Do you help with wireless frequency setup?

Yes. For single kits we can provide a recommended frequency/channel. For larger systems or critical events, we recommend an operator or pre‑coordination.

Will wireless microphones work at my venue?

Usually yes, but performance depends on location, other RF activity, and how many wireless systems are in use. Tell us the venue and we’ll advise the best frequency plan.

Are batteries included with wireless gear?

Battery requirements vary by kit. We’ll confirm what’s included and what you should bring. Spare batteries can be supplied on request.

Are your power boards and leads tested and tagged?

Yes. Our power accessories are professionally assembled (where applicable), tested and tagged by licensed electricians.

Can I run multiple high‑draw devices from one board?

Only if the total load stays within the circuit rating. If you tell us your devices, we can help estimate the load and recommend a safe setup.

Do I need a 15A or 32A supply for this?
