Every LED screen needs a processor to scale your content and map it across the panels. The NovaStar VX6s takes HDMI, 3G-SDI or DVI from your laptop, switcher or media server and drives up to 3.9 million pixels over six outputs — a 5.5 × 3 m screen of our P3.9 panels needs one.

What it costs to hire the LED Screen Processor
NovaStar VX6s all-in-one LED video processor — takes HDMI, SDI or DVI and drives our P3.9 LED screens. The LED Screen Processor — NovaStar VX6s hires at $250 per day including GST. Multi-day rates are applied automatically rather than negotiated: 1 day is $250, two days is $450 against $500 for two separate single days, 2 days is $450, and a week is $1,313. You do not need a code or a phone call to get that; the rate drops as soon as you set your dates.
We hold 2 of these, so more than one can go out on the same booking — worth knowing if you are covering multiple rooms, stages or camera positions. Availability still depends on your dates, so earlier is better on a busy weekend.
What comes with the LED Screen Processor
Every LED Screen Processor — NovaStar VX6s hire includes 1 × NovaStar VX6s processor and power cable. That is what goes out with the hire. Everything is checked and tested between hires.
Screen choice comes down to viewing distance and ambient light far more often than resolution, which is why a smaller bright panel frequently beats a larger dim one. Pickup, delivery and setup
You can collect the LED Screen Processor — NovaStar VX6s from us on the Gold Coast, or we can deliver it to your venue, site or office. Pickup costs nothing extra and suits anyone already passing through; delivery is quoted on distance and access, and tends to be the better option once a booking runs to more than a couple of items. We deliver throughout the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Tweed Heads, Byron Bay and the Sunshine Coast.

How long can I hire the LED Screen Processor for?
As long as you need — a single day, a weekend, a week or a full production run. Hire days are 24-hour periods, so a one-day hire is due back the same time the following day rather than by close of business. The per-day rate falls with the length of the booking, down to 25% off the daily rate from four days on.
Do you have more than one LED Screen Processor?
Yes — we hold 2, so multiples can go out on the same booking. Availability still depends on the dates, so it is worth checking early if you need several for a multi-camera or multi-room job.
